Ahlstrom has developed using the proprietary Trinitex® technology a range of activated carbon filter media.
These products are designed for high odour and gas absorption and are well suited for various HVAC applications.
The use of Trinitex forming allows the activated carbon to be sandwiched between two outer layers. This gives the media excellent processability for pocketed or pleated filters, while not compromising the efficiency.
In addition to Trinitex, our multi-layer carded synthetic nonwovens can also incorporate activated carbon particles, mostly used in HVAC applications.
