Low to Medium Efficiency
Ahlstrom offer a wide range of carded and needlepunch synthetic filter media for residential/industrial HVAC applications, these products are characterized by:
- constant quality obtained with strict technical controls
- great dust holding capacity performances that guarantee long filter life
- perfect processability

Medium to High Efficiency
Ahlstrom offers an innovative product range of synthetic media, produced with proprietary technologies such as it's Fine Fiber synthetic melt-spun media, wetlaid microglass or the innovative 3-layer Trinitex® material.
Ahlstrom's 3-layer media product range includes filter media for pleated filters, such as mini -pleat or panel filters, characterized by:
- high tensile strength in wet conditions low pressure drop due to Trinitex 3-layer online technology
- excellent pleating behaviour on rotary and blade machines
- good dimensional stability during hot melt gluing
Recently, Ahlstrom has added wetlaid microglass media capability through the acquisition of Fabriano Filter Media. This technology complements Ahlstrom's portfolio and allows us to propose all levels of efficiencies. The microglass products range from various ASHRAE grades (F5-F9) to HEPA (H12-H14) and ULPA (U15-U16).
